Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Anesthetist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Provide oversight in the preparation of anesthetic equipment and supplies.
• Ensure a smooth handover to recovery room staff post-surgery.
• Engage in quality assurance activities to enhance anesthesia delivery and patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Fellowship in Anesthesiology is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume surgical unit.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in regional anesthesia
• Familiarity with sedation protocols

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
