Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in Cairns. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analyses.
• Compile and analyze financial data to assist decision-making.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Actively participate in financial planning and strategy sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of professional accounting experience
