Tree Trimmers and Pruners

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Tree Trimmers and Pruners to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery and hand tools to cut down trees and prepare them for transport to a timber processing facility. Your safety and the safety of the team will be of utmost priority as you tackle this physically demanding job in diverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and follow operational instructions.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and compliance with environmental guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with a small crew to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Contribute to team discussions on improving processes and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in forestry or related fields is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Tree felling techniques
• Environmental compliance

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certification in workplace safety

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of timber species: Familiarity with different types of timber is beneficial.
