Job Description

As a Health and Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing safety protocols that protect our workers and the workplace. You will conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about workplace safety and health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing safety programs and suggest improvements.
• Ensure emergency preparedness protocols are effective.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment safety.
• Interact with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
• Conduct follow-up assessments after incidents to enhance safety measures.
• Lead safety audits and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate employee safety committees and safety meetings.
• Prepare and maintain safety manuals and training materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety Management
• Certifications in Safety Management Systems are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety.
