Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tobacco Blender to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for blending various types of tobacco leaves to create high-quality smoking products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of smell, and a passion for tobacco craft.

Responsibilities

• Blend different tobacco leaves according to established specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product meets safety and health regulations.
• Track and manage the inventory of blending materials.
• Keep detailed records of blending processes and results.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleaning of blending machinery.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.
• Train new hires on blending techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Tobacco Processing or similar field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in tobacco blending or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Experience with tobacco types
• Machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Familiarity with safety and health regulations: Knowledge of compliance requirements within the tobacco industry.
• Experience operating machinery and equipment safely: Hands-on experience ensuring machinery is operated within safety parameters.
