Job Description
As an Assembly Member, you'll represent your electorate and collaborate with other elected officials to create and pass beneficial legislation. This role is pivotal in addressing the needs of the community and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
Advocate for the needs and aspirations of your electorate in parliament.
Develop policies and legislation that serve community interests.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather input on legislative matters.
Research and analyse data to inform legislative decisions.
Communicate effectively with the public and media representatives.
Monitor legislative developments and advocate for necessary changes.
Engage in coalition-building with other legislators and community groups.

Requirements
Education
Diploma in Public Administration or equivalent is preferred
Experience
Experience in politics or public service is highly desirable.
