We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Mackay. This role involves working on various projects aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations. Responsibilities

• Coordinate ecological studies, surveys, and assessments.
• Work on developing policies and programs aimed at promoting sustainability.
• Prepare and review technical documents related to environmental projects.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Initiate and lead stakeholder engagement activities.
• Conduct risk assessments related to environmental impacts.
• Contribute to grant proposals and funding applications.
• Monitor industry trends and innovations in environmental engineering.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in environmental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental projects
