The First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers will oversee day-to-day operations within the stockyard, ensuring efficient processes, adherence to safety regulations, and the management of team performance. They will be crucial in coordinating activities and achieving production targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in the stockyard, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Oversee the scheduling and training of stockyard personnel.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all activities.
• Assess and maintain stockyard equipment to uphold functionality.
• Develop and implement measures to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Communicate regularly with upper management regarding stockyard performance and improvements.
• Directly manage the stockyard team, fostering a positive working environment.
• Evaluate and report on production targets and team performance.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training or diploma in manufacturing or operations management

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the steel production or manufacturing sector
