Job Description

The Pug Mill Operator Helper plays a crucial role in the ceramic production process, assisting the Pug Mill Operator in the setup and operation of the pug mill. Ideal candidates should have an eye for detail and a knack for teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Help set up and operate the pug mill efficiently.
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of clay materials.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes.
  • Assist with troubleshooting any equipment issues that arise.
  • Ensure all safety measures are followed in the production area.
  • Train new employees on basic operations and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal qualifications required, but experience in manufacturing is preferred
  • Certificate in Ceramics or related field is advantageous
Experience
