Job Description

As a Food Preparation Worker, you will assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to clients in a healthcare facility. This role is crucial in supporting the nutrition and dietary requirements of our clients, ensuring they receive excellent service and care.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare nutritious meals for patients and clients.
• Ensure all food safety and cleanliness protocols are followed.
• Assist in planning menus with dietary restrictions in mind.
• Monitor food supplies and assist in ordering.
• Keep inventory of food items and supplies.
• Maintain a hygienic work environment in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize meal delivery.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and training.
• Provide feedback on meal service and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Nutrition or Dietetics is preferred

Experience

• Experience working in a healthcare facility is preferred
