Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Tool Grinder, Filer, and Sharpener to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating internal grinding machines to create precision components, ensuring adherence to strict specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate internal grinding machines to produce high-quality precision components.
  • Select suitable tooling and fixtures for efficient production.
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to meet industry standards.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards in the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter Machinist)
  • Qualification or certification in internal grinding or a similar field is advantageous.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
