Job Description

We are seeking skilled Hoist and Winch Operators to join our dynamic surveying team in Sydney. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in safely operating hoists and winches to support our land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hoisting equipment for various survey tasks.
• Ensure all safety measures are strictly followed during operations.
• Work alongside a team of professionals to complete projects efficiently.
• Keep detailed logs of activities and equipment usage.
• Assist in training junior staff on equipment operation and safety.
• Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety and quality.
• Stay updated on new equipment and techniques in the surveying field.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Surveying or equivalent
• Completion of relevant safety training courses

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying and hoisting operations

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
