Extraction Worker

Job Description

As an Extraction Worker, you will support tree climbing arborists in executing various tree maintenance tasks. This physically demanding role requires agility and a strong team spirit, contributing positively to our gardening projects.

Responsibilities

• Help set up and dismantle equipment and machinery used for tree maintenance.
• Maintain clear communication with the arborist and other team members.
• Conduct regular inspections on equipment to ensure functionality.
• Assist in the preparation of job sites for both small and large projects.
• Manage waste and debris to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in Arboriculture or Landscaping

Experience

• Experience working in outdoor physical environments is preferred

Technical Skills

• Equipment Maintenance

Certifications

• Chainsaw Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with heavy machinery operation: Experience in operating heavy machinery such as chippers and stump grinders.
