An exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Blasting Miner to join our team in the mining industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydraulic drilling and blasting equipment to extract mineral resources safely and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is proactive and safety-conscious, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Utilise strong problem-solving skills to overcome operational challenges.
• Take part in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
• Assist in the development of blasting plans to maximise resource recovery.
• Conduct inspections of blasting areas and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Mining or Engineering field
• Additional certifications in blasting technologies are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in blasting operations in an underground mining environment

Technical Skills

• Advanced Blasting Technologies
• Heavy Machinery Operation

• Hazardous Materials Handling Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings: Proficient in reading technical specifications and plans.
