Job Description

As an Artillery and Missile Officer, you'll lead and manage artillery operations within the defence structure. This role involves overseeing the use of artillery weapon systems, preparing missions, and ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage artillery teams during training and operational missions.
  • Conduct safety drills and maintain safety records.
  • Oversee the maintenance and inspection of artillery equipment.
  • Create and implement training programs for team readiness.
  • Liaise with command staff for mission planning and execution.
  • Adapt tactics based on operational feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Facilitate debriefing sessions post-missions to improve processes.
  • Perform logistical planning for equipment deployment.
  • Support joint military operations as required.
  • Report on team progress and operational outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements

Education
  • At least an associate degree in military technology or related fields
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in artillery operations and leadership
