Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals dealing with mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various psychological interventions and a commitment to enhancing client well-being. Your insights will contribute to creating a nurturing environment for our clients while adhering to best practices in mental health care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate psychological and emotional well-being of clients through comprehensive assessments.
  • Deliver therapeutic sessions focused on cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches.
  • Engage in staff training to enhance clinical skills across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop integrated care pathways.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information in accordance with privacy laws.
  • Contribute to research projects aimed at improving mental health services.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
  • Additional training in trauma-informed care is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical practice preferred
Technical Skills
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Languages
  • English: Fluent
