Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facilities in Whyalla. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of all structures and systems. You will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, coordinating renovations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee facility operations to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors.
  • Manage emergency response and safety protocols in facilities.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met throughout the facility.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets for facilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational objectives.
  • Monitor facility performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Facilitate staff training on health and safety practices.
  • Plan and implement facility upgrades and expansions as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering is preferred
  • Facilities Management Certification is desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a facilities management role
