Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Language Interpreter to join our dynamic team. You will facilitate communication in various settings by providing accurate interpretation and translation services.
Responsibilities
Work closely with clients and partners to ensure timely service delivery.
Participate in team meetings to discuss case updates and best practices.
Evaluate interpreting situations to determine the best approach for communication.
Adapt to different interpreting environments and requirements.
Support other team members and provide guidance where needed.
Requirements
Education
Relevant tertiary qualification in Translation or Interpreting
Experience
Previous experience in health or legal interpreting is a bonus
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with online conferencing tools like Zoom
Soft Skills
Cultural sensitivity
Problem-solving skills
Certifications
Advanced NAATI Certification
Languages
English: Fluent
Spanish: Fluent
Advantageous
Proficiency in additional languages: Ability to speak multiple languages beyond the required two.
Experience in training new interpreters: Ability and willingness to mentor junior staff.
