Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rotary Drill Operator to join our team in the energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating drilling rigs and will oversee drilling operations to ensure safety and efficiency while extracting natural resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of rotary drill rigs to safely extract shale oil and natural gas.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drilling equipment and operations.
• Collaborate closely with the drilling supervisor to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor environmental conditions and adjust operations as necessary to minimize risks.
• Manage logistical aspects of drilling operations, including equipment and personnel scheduling.
• Conduct post-drilling reviews to evaluate efficiency and safety compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate II or III in Drilling Operations or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotary drilling operations

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
