Job Description

As a Family Caseworker, you'll be at the forefront of support for families facing challenges. Your role will involve counselling, developing case management plans, and linking families with essential services. You'll work closely with community organisations and government agencies to ensure comprehensive support for the families you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Assist families in navigating complex social services systems.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to build trust and promote engagement.
  • Monitor and report on client progress in relation to case plans.
  • Provide emotional support and resources for families during crisis situations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and agency regulations.
  • Document case notes and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of available services.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to advocate for families.
  • Attend team meetings and supervision sessions regularly.
  • Stay informed of changes in legislation and social work practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years' experience in case management or social work.
