Job Description

Join our dynamic printing team as a Press Operator. You will be responsible for setting up and operating printing presses to produce top-notch materials. The ideal candidate possesses excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality in every job they undertake.

Responsibilities

• Prepare press equipment for printing runs based on job specifications.
• Ensure materials are correctly set up for each job to avoid waste.
• Inspect printed material for errors or defects and rectify issues.
• Work closely with design and production teams to enhance print quality.
• Oversee the printing process to meet industry standards.
• Adhere to production schedules and maintain timely output.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and maintain a safety-first approach.
• Assist in inventory management of printing supplies and materials.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Printing or equivalent
• Forklift license (desirable)

Experience

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Printing Machinery Operation
• Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of printing equipment: Hands-on experience in resolving technical issues and performing regular maintenance.
