Radiologic Technologist / Mammographer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mammographer to join our reputable healthcare facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in performing mammography procedures and providing accurate interpretations of images. Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures following established protocols.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients regarding procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collect and analyse patient history relevant to imaging.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with the radiology team to enhance patient flow and experience.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or a related field
• Postgraduate training in mammography is preferred.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in mammography and related imaging techniques.

Technical Skills

• Breast Anatomy Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Detail-Oriented

Certifications

• Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in conducting breast biopsies: Hands-on experience in breast biopsy procedures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines: Understanding of the legal compliance in breast imaging.
