Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals for the role of Gauger. This position involves working closely with our production team to monitor equipment performance and maintain accurate records of production and inventory. Safety will always be your top priority.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment vital to the refining process.
• Conduct routine inspections and reporting issues as necessary.
• Document all maintenance activities and production metrics.
• Respond promptly to alarms and equipment notifications.
• Work collaboratively with the safety and quality assurance teams.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the workplace remains clean and organized.
• Provide feedback for potential equipment upgrades.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a petroleum refinery or similar environment

Technical Skills

• Process control systems
• Maintenance management

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• First Aid certification
• Forklift operator certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations.: Familiarity with AS/NZS safety regulations and standards in the oil and gas industry.
