Job Description

We are seeking an Incident Commander to navigate emergency situations effectively. You will provide leadership during incidents, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure that all response efforts are conducted safely and efficiently, safeguarding the community's well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of emergency situations, ensuring a structured command system is in place.
  • Manage and direct resources for effective incident management.
  • Formulate incident action plans tailored to specific emergencies.
  • Ensure consistent communication between teams and external agencies.
  • Assess incident response operations for areas needing enhancement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents and present findings.
  • Continually update knowledge on emergency management trends.
  • Conduct training sessions for response personnel.
  • Engage in practical exercises to test response agility.
  • Cultivate partnerships with community stakeholders for response collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree is preferred
