Job Description

We are searching for an Environmental Consultant to join our Newcastle-based team. This role will involve conducting environmental assessments, advising clients on compliance with environmental regulations, and developing sustainable strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about environmental protection and have a strong understanding of current environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of environmental reports.
• Conduct risk assessments related to environmental impacts.
• Advise on waste management strategies and pollution prevention.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to ensure sustainable project outcomes.
• Participate in public consultation processes on environmental issues.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on environmental consultancy practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in consultancy with proven project management skills.
