Responsibilities

• Feed and provide fresh water to animals according to their specific needs.
• Conduct regular health assessments and report abnormalities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in animal enclosures.
• Assist in animal enrichment activities to promote well-being.
• Work collaboratively with the animal care team to ensure high standards of care.
• Document and maintain records for each animal under care.
• Assist in animal behaviour training programs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss animal care strategies.
• Follow up on veterinary recommendations for animal health.
• Stay informed about changes in animal care best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Animal Care or Veterinary Studies is preferable

Experience

• Experience with diverse animal species

Technical Skills

• Animal behaviour understanding

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of animal nutrition: Understanding of dietary requirements for various species.
• Experience with emergency animal care: Ability to respond effectively to urgent animal health situations.
