Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rack Puncher to join our vibrant team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for punching holes in racks and other metal structures according to engineering specifications. They must demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and using various tools and equipment, both manual and automated.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate various punching machines for metal components.
  • Read and interpret engineering specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process.
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment operation.
  • Work closely with the production manager to improve workflow.
  • Utilize various tools for fabrication tasks as required.
  • Maintain detailed logs of production quantities and issues encountered.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in engineering or metal working is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
