Job Description

As a Blockman, you will play a crucial role in our meat production facility, responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats for retail sale. Your attention to detail and expertise in meat handling will ensure high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cutting, trimming, and preparation of various types of meat.
• Track and manage stock levels, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
• Educate customers on meat products and preparation techniques.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and implement feedback promptly.
• Maintain a positive and safe working environment for all team members.
• Implement best practices for meat storage and handling.
• Foster collaboration within the team and assist in cross-training where needed.
• Uphold the company’s commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing.
• Contribute to product development by experimenting with new meat cuts and recipes.
• Keep updated on industry trends and innovations in meat processing.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent
• Food Handling and Safety Certification is essential

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in large-scale meat production.
