Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Freight Dispatcher to be an integral part of our Gold Coast team. The ideal candidate will take charge of coordinating and managing freight operations, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal resource utilisation. Your keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills will help streamline our transportation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily freight operations and manage scheduling.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, drivers, and management.
• Utilize logistics software to dispatch loads and track deliveries.
• Ensure all documentation related to shipping is completed accurately.
• Handle customer complaints and provide satisfactory resolutions.
• Assist in the development of logistics strategies to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain data on shipments for analysis and reporting.
• Communicate route changes and updates to drivers promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in freight operations.
• Provide exceptional service to clients while maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in dispatch or logistics management with a focus on freight operations.

• Advanced Freight Logistics Certification
