Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Biogeographer to join our ecological team. This role involves researching the distribution of species across diverse environments and leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyse geospatial data. Your findings will directly contribute to ecological assessments and impact studies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring programs for ecological assessments.
• Assist in drafting management plans for conservation areas.
• Communicate findings with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct assessments of environmental impacts relating to various projects.
• Provide guidance based on geospatial data analysis regarding biodiversity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Geography or related environmental field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in biogeography or environmental sciences
