Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Geelong. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mechanical design and analysis, specifically in the development of efficient engineering solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to our innovative product lines.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical analysis to support design decisions.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams for project development.
• Prepare engineering reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for mechanical design and fabrication.
• Assist in the preparation of grant and funding proposals related to engineering projects.
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Thermodynamics

Certifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (CPEng)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with robotics: Hands-on experience with robotic systems and automation.
