Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Keysmith to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, repairing, and duplicating keys for various locks and security systems. This role requires excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail to meet our clients' unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and duplicate keys using cutting-edge technology.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate security systems.
• Conduct assessments of existing security measures and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with other locksmiths and apprentices to ensure best practices.
• Manage inventory and maintain the workshop's organization.
• Provide emergency lockout services and support.
• Train apprentices on locksmithing techniques and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a Locksmithing apprenticeship or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in locksmithing and safe repair

Technical Skills

• Transponder Keys
• Safe Opening and Repair
• Electronic Access Control Systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Licensed Locksmith
• Security Technician Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Safe Repair Techniques: Expertise in safe-opening methods and safe maintenance.
• Willingness to be On Call: Flexibility to work outside of regular hours as required.
