Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our team. This role involves preparing and feeding materials into furnaces, ensuring they operate efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heat treating furnaces according to specifications.
• Measure and weigh materials to ensure accuracy before loading.
• Ensure materials are properly loaded and positioned in the furnace.
• Monitor critical parameters to ensure optimal results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise.
• Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

Technical Skills

• Physical dexterity
• Welding skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with safety regulations in the manufacturing sector: Knowledge of industry safety standards and compliance requirements.
