Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of total loss claims.
• Collaborate with the repair and legal teams for accurate settlements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and interpret complex data relating to insurance claims.
• Facilitate customer communications and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Support the Claims Manager in developing best practices.
• Monitor the progress of claims and ensure timely resolutions.
• Benchmark claims against industry standards and metrics.
• Review and refine claims processes regularly to improve outcomes.
• Provide guidance to junior adjusters in the claims department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in claims management and adoption of insurance technology

Technical Skills

• Xactimate

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• Certified Insurance Appraiser

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with claims management systems: Familiarity with advanced claims management systems beyond Xactimate.
• Experience with complex total loss claims: Demonstrated experience in managing complex total loss claims.
