Job Description

As a Military Officer focusing on Special and Tactical Operations, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Australia's maritime environment. This includes gathering and analyzing intelligence related to submarine threats, developing strategic recommendations, and collaborating with partner agencies to enhance national security.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate complex intelligence data on submarine threats and operational readiness.
• Formulate and present strategic recommendations to enhance maritime security.
• Engage with external agencies to foster partnerships and information sharing.
• Implement best practices in intelligence analysis and operational security.
• Participate in assessments of military readiness and capability developments.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior personnel within the unit.
• Draft technical reports and situational briefings for senior military officials.
• Utilize GIS and other technological tools to analyze geographical and operational data.
• Ensure adherence to Australian Defence policies and operational protocols.
• Facilitate information sessions to educate peers on relevant intelligence topics.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Intelligence Analysis or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a military or intelligence role focusing on maritime security.
