Job Description

We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Commercial Diver to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwater tasks, ensuring the cleanliness of our equipment and assisting with various food preparation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general underwater cleaning tasks to maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Assist the culinary team in food preparation and kitchen organization.
• Follow food safety regulations and health codes strictly.
• Report any issues or maintenance needs to the Head Chef.
• Work effectively within a team setting to ensure quality service.
• Contribute to team discussions around safety and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is an advantage.

Experience

• No prior experience required; however, experience in a kitchen is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Basic cooking skills
• Cleaning and sanitation practices

Soft Skills

• Ability to follow instructions
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a high-paced kitchen environment: Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
