Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will play a critical role in promoting and protecting public health across various communities. Your responsibilities will include planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs while collaborating with governmental agencies and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Implement public health policies and regulations in conjunction with state and federal guidelines.
• Analyze data to assess the health status of populations and target interventions.
• Coordinate vaccination and health screening programs.
• Facilitate community health workshops and training sessions.
• Respond to public health emergencies and coordinate responses.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Advocate for policies that improve health outcomes at various levels.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Epidemiology or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in public health
