Sample Selector

Job Description

We are looking for a Sample Selector to join our Quality Control team. You will be responsible for selecting and preparing samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring that quality control procedures are adhered to throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Select samples of raw materials and final products for testing.
• Record and maintain precise documentation of all samples.
• Ensure samples are properly labelled and stored.
• Work collaboratively within the Quality Control team to ensure compliance.
• Identify potential issues within the sample preparation process.
• Provide support to laboratory staff in maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks of sample storage facilities.
• Participate in training sessions on new quality control measures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years experience in a quality control role preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with laboratory software
• Sample tracking software
• Basic laboratory techniques

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented mindset
• Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a quality assurance role: Background in ensuring quality standards in production.
• Familiarity with quality control processes: Understanding of procedures used to keep product quality consistent.
