Job Description

As an Orthotist and Prosthetist, you will play a vital role in designing, fitting, and adjusting orthotic and prosthetic devices tailored to patients' unique needs. Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or injuries, ensuring they regain and enhance their mobility capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to ascertain patients' orthotic requirements.
• Create and modify orthotic and prosthetic devices based on patient specifications.
• Keep abreast of new materials, techniques, and technologies in the field.
• Work with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Advise patients on rehabilitation exercises and practices.
• Maintain and repair existing orthotic and prosthetic devices as necessary.
• Prepare and submit insurance authorisations and documentation.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare field

Experience

• Registered as an Orthotist with 2+ years of experience
