Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Voting Machine Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting voting machines in preparation for elections. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and security of our voting technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation and calibration of voting machines for various elections.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist in software deployments and updates as required.
  • Engage with local election officials to ensure a smooth voting process.
  • Actively participate in training and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Administer hands-on troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
  • Oversee the security and integrity of voting technology systems.
  • Document all procedures and notes for future reference.
  • Provide feedback on machine performance to improve future operations.
  • Ensure safety and compliance during all technical operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in computer science or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience with election processes and regulations is preferred.
