Job Description

As a Legal Counsel based in Toowoomba, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our clients. This position requires an adept understanding of Australian law, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic legal advice aligned with business goals.
• Provide support in dispute resolution and litigation processes.
• Review operational practices for legal compliance.
• Collaborate with external legal partners when necessary.
• Prepare legal briefs, memos, and correspondence.
• Aid in corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
• Attend court hearings as needed for client representation.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
• Admitted to the Supreme Court of your state

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law

Certifications

• Accredited Mediator

Languages

• English: Fluent
