Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Viner Operator to join our vineyard team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining vineyard equipment, such as vine trimmers and harvesters, ensuring efficient grape harvesting.
Responsibilities
Operate vineyard equipment including tractors and harvesters.
Perform maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns during harvest.
Inspect operational processes and contribute to the adjustment of techniques for better efficiency.
Collaborate with the Vineyard Manager to develop harvesting schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during operations.
Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and gather input for improvements.
Support the implementation of sustainable practices in vineyard management.
Handle logistics related to grape transport post-harvest.
Requirements
Education
Certificate in Viticulture or related field preferred
Experience
Experience with sustainable vineyard practices is advantageous.
