Weapons Military Characteristics Officer

Job Description

The Weapons Military Characteristics Officer will be responsible for providing technical expertise on military weapons systems and their characteristics to support military operations. The role involves conducting research and analysis, collaborating with military personnel, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the performance characteristics and capabilities of existing and emerging weapons systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation on weapon systems including specifications, test plans, and test reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical advice and support to military and government personnel on weapons systems.
• Participate in the design, development, and testing of new weapons systems and related components.
• Conduct training sessions for military personnel on operational use and maintenance of weapons systems.
• Participate in project management activities related to weapons system development.
• Analyze operational feedback and assess the impact on future weapon systems design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Advanced degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in military weapons systems or a related field
