Grain Drier Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grain Drier Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating grain drying equipment to efficiently dry and preserve grain crops in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of grain drying machinery
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of drying equipment
• Collect and analyze data on grain drying effectiveness
• Collaborate with the farm management team to enhance drying techniques
• Educate and train new team members on equipment operation
• Assist in optimizing grain storage post-drying
• Ensure proper handling and storage of grain to prevent spoilage
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records
• Follow all health and safety regulations strictly
• Participate in cross-training opportunities within the farm operations

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required. On-the-job training provided.

Experience

• Prior experience operating grain drying equipment is highly desirable.
