As an Energy Auditor, you will conduct assessments of residential buildings to identify energy efficiency improvements. Your expertise will assist homeowners in reducing their energy bills and environmental impact.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform energy audits on residential buildings and provide actionable insights.
  • Identify areas for energy efficiency improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Develop tailored energy efficiency plans based on client needs.
  • Keep current with industry standards and best practices in energy efficiency.
  • Engage with homeowners to educate them on energy-saving measures.
  • Document audit procedures and findings accurately for internal records.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote energy audit services.
  • Attend community events to raise awareness about energy efficiency.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in energy auditing or sustainability are preferred
  • Energy auditing software (e.g. TREAT, EnergyPro) Familiarity with energy analysis software.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical thinking Strong analytical skills for assessing energy efficiency.
  • Communication Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear manner.
  • Customer service Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • HERS Rater Certification or equivalent
  • Building Performance Institute Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar panels, energy storage): Knowledge of implementing renewable energy solutions for residences.
  • Project management experience: Experience managing energy efficiency projects from start to finish.
