Gas Tester

Job Description

The Gas Tester will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of gas pipelines and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a solid understanding of gas systems and the ability to operate testing equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess gas systems for compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct testing and analysis of gas quality and integrity.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Advise on potential improvements for safety practices.
• Monitor gas installations and report any irregularities.
• Train junior staff on inspection techniques and equipment usage.
• Engage with clients regarding safety inspections and findings.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to gas safety.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Gas Technology or equivalent
• Current drivers' license

Experience

• Experience in gas installation and maintenance is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Gas System Knowledge
• Problem-Solving Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with pipeline construction and maintenance: Hands-on experience in working with gas installation and pipeline infrastructures.
