Job Description

As a Credit Counselor, you will provide expert financial guidance to clients, evaluating their financial situations and creating tailored budgets and plans. Your role is crucial in helping clients understand their financial health and navigate their financial journeys efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyse clients' financial situations.
  • Formulate practical debt reduction strategies.
  • Educate clients on financial products and best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and one-on-one sessions on financial management.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote financial literacy.
  • Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.
  • Advise clients on credit issues and potential solutions.
  • Deliver presentations on financial wellness initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Master's degree or additional certifications preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial counseling or a related field
