Tooling Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tooling systems that meet production requirements and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in tooling design, familiarity with CAD software, and a strong background in mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype tooling solutions for various manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with engineers to integrate tooling into the production line.
• Conduct tests on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of tooling systems.
• Maintain an inventory of tooling parts and supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers and external partners regarding tooling specifications.
• Provide training to production staff on new tooling systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in tooling and design engineering

Technical Skills

• G-code Programming
• CAD/CAM Software
• Technical Drawing Interpretation

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified Tooling Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
