We are searching for a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will coordinate and plan production schedules to meet customer demands while maximising efficiency across our operations.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
Ensure optimal resource allocation to meet production targets.
Conduct analysis to identify bottlenecks in production processes.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and train new staff on production planning methodologies.
Support quality assurance processes to uphold product standards.
Prepare and present production performance metrics to management.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to align material orders with production schedules.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
Experience
3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling
