Production Planner

Job Description

We are searching for a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will coordinate and plan production schedules to meet customer demands while maximising efficiency across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure optimal resource allocation to meet production targets.
• Conduct analysis to identify bottlenecks in production processes.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and train new staff on production planning methodologies.
• Support quality assurance processes to uphold product standards.
• Prepare and present production performance metrics to management.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to align material orders with production schedules.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing Principles

• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
