Job Description

We are currently seeking a Cutting Machine Tender Helper to join our production team. This role involves assisting our cutting machine operators, ensuring smooth operation and quality control of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the cutting machine operator in adjusting settings for various cuts.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure machines are functioning optimally.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on basic operational procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and inform supervisors of shortages.
• Document production activities and provide updates to management.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support the production team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Forklift operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous manufacturing experience: Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
